Fundraising in Stockton-on-Tees at Sun Inn Stockton-On-Tees

Last year Craft Union pubs collectively raised over £800,000 for local community causes. Cracking, right? Well, our mission this year is to Make it a Million!

At Craft Union, community is the cornerstone of what we do. Our ethos is all about celebrating local pubs at the heart of their communities, and in 2022, our operators were awarded the national accolade of the Best Community Pub Operator! As part of our community focus, we’ve been proudly boosting our local charities over the years, and we’ve achieved some incredible things.

In 2023, our teams fundraised over £80,000 for Ukraine support, £79,000 for cancer charities and £78,000 for local hospitals and hospices; the annual December Toy Appeal raised a fantastic £32,000 for local causes and donated almost 2,000 sacks of gifts for those in need at Christmas; £60,000 was donated to local causes and grassroots sports initiatives for the 2023 company-wide Love Your Local initiative; and that’s just to name a few!

But we’re not stopping there. As we grow, we’ve set our sights even higher with an ambitious goal of £1 million of donations for 2024, and we can’t wait to get started!
