"Visited here for pre-dinner drinks whilst staying locally. Not a good first impression as we had to walk through a gaggle of smokers congregated around the entrance to get in. There were a lot of people behind the bar, but seemingly only one or two actually serving drinks. They had a decent drinks selection available & a couple of gin related offers on the go, of which we partook. Most of the clientele were pretty vocal with their views & expletives, but friendly nonetheless. Overall a decent spot with good prices, but it could be vastly improved by having a dedicated smoking area, to stop the smoke-screen at the entrance, & a few more serving staff, & less hangers on, behind the bar."
