"Just such a delightful venue. The staff are so pleasant and cheerful. (No “guys” this and “guys” that!!). The menu is really good and no problem to provide a child-sized course when we asked as grandson preferred the main menu over the child’s menu. The presentation was superb. This is our third visit - the first being an ad hoc pop in on the off chance of getting a weekday light lunch. Even though it’s usually “fully booked” we’ve always been accommodated and again today they manage to get us in between other bookings. A gem of a restaurant indeed, great decor, delightful outside or in and reasonable prices."

"This pub was recomended by our hotel and we were pleasantly surprised. The ambiance was great, menu extensive, with a specials list. My friends had the Salmon and Scampi which they throughly enjoyed. Being diabetic, there was little for me to choose from, so I ended up with 2 starters, the Chicken liver pate and the Prawn and crayfish salad, which was delicious. Excellent choice of drinks, we were spoiled for choice but all ended up with a light cider. The only downside, was the noise. It was exceptionally busy night, and with low ceilings, the level of noise was so high we could barely hear ourselves talk. That was the only negative however, we did enjoy ourselves and were glad it had been recommended."
