January has been an amazing month and brilliant start to 2023 for our Crafty community!
Keeping warm has been high on everyone’s list this winter, especially with the rise of living costs! That’s why we created a campaign around some belly warming shot paddles of Jägermeister! Some of our lucky customers even won a Jägermeister hoodie making their January MUCH better with a Sweater!
Thanks to everyone in our Crafty community who took part in another year of the Winter Warmth campaign and who donated their unwanted clothing, blankets or toiletries to their Crafty local. They have now been donated to local homeless hostels and shelters to support those less fortunate.
The Prince of Wales in particular raised over £740 through a sponsored sleep out and have donated the money to Only A Pavement Away.
The Bridge on Wool held their first quiz of 2023 and raised £380 for Action.org.uk who are on a mission to save and change children’s lives through medical research, developing treatments, vaccinations and cures. The Bridge on Wool plan on doing more charity events throughout the year for this great cause!
The Kings Head Plymouth have been collecting for a Domestic Violence Unit collection! Amazing work for such an important cause.
The Prince of Wales have managed to raise a HUGE £423 through hamper entries, quiz participants and a pool tournament! All for Myton Hospice.
The garden house in Norwich donated 1000 dry suit kits, 55 Budweiser scarves and plenty of food to Ukraine and homeless projects in Norwich. Brilliant work!
Some great stories from January. Bring on February!
