CRAFT UNION - WINTER WARMTH

At Christmas time, more than 200,000 families and individuals in England alone experience the worst forms of homelessness. Christmas is a time for giving; we thought there was no better way to support our local communities than to give a helping hand to those in need. 

Craft Union aimed to raise money for the charity Only A Pavement Away through some brilliant activities during December and January. Some of our pubs held 'Fill A Flask' events in January and handed out Winter Warmth back packs to rough sleepers and homeless hostels.  

With the campaign now finished we have raised £8,087 for Only A Pavement Away. The funds went to setting up four regional Winter Warmth events where our operators, Craft Union team and support team came together to give out 480 bags to homeless filled with warm clothes, toiletries and flasks. A huge thank you to our crafty community for their donations to this great cause!
